Winnipeg police say a 12-year-old girl was stabbed at a party and rushed to hospital in unstable condition.

Police say they responded to a call Tuesday morning about a gun at a home.

They say a group of teens had gathered when one of the partygoers — a 13-year-old girl — was ousted from the home.

Police say she later returned armed with a knife along with a woman brandishing an imitation firearm and forcibly entered the home.
