Nipawin is set to celebrate 100 years this summer
The celebration will feature various attractions, including live bands, bouncy castles, food trucks, a pancake breakfast, a parade, and more.
The Town of Nipawin is preparing for its big date. The community will celebrate its 100th anniversary from July 11 to 13.
“This landmark event provides a unique opportunity to honour our community’s rich heritage and the hard work of past generations while also strengthening our bonds through shared experiences,” said Chelsea Corrigan in a leisure services report.
The Town of Nipawin is planning a schedule of events, with many activities spread over three days. The Nipawin exhibition fair will begin on July 14, after the 100th birthday celebrations.

Nipawin Town Council approved $20,000 for the fireworks display. The last time the Town of Nipawin budgeted money for fireworks was in 2017.
Fireworks are expected to open the weekend celebrations.
